Blue Park Kitchen emerged from the belief that food should be nourishing, honest, and delicious. The founder, inspired by the cozy, classically New York feel of Park Slope, where she once lived, sought a brand identity that brought the tranquility of the park indoors. Drawing inspiration from architectural elements in NYC parks and subways, my team and I designed a brand identity for Blue Park Kitchen that reflects this vision.

I created menu header artwork that draws inspiration from the monument found in Grand Army Plaza, with added Blue Park ingredients, of course.

I had the honor of hand-illustrating the wallpaper for Blue Park Kitchen, drawing inspiration from their commitment to local, seasonal foods. The custom pattern seamlessly integrates plants native to New York and ingredients featured in Blue Park Kitchen's menu.

We engaged in multiple rounds of collaboration with the client to incorporate the ideal plants into the design. Achieving a flawless, seamless pattern posed some challenges, but it turned out just right!
To capture the essence of the founder's former neighborhood, I drew inspiration from a day spent photographing the architecture in Prospect Park and Park Slope.
